This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Ninemile Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Two Island River offers some splendid whitewater. Lamb's Campground and Resort is a good campground nearby, and Americinn - Tofte, Mn is a good spot to get some rest. Dogwood Lake is a good place of typical rainfall; during June this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile       is the driest month. Lutsen is a great local ski area, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Cross River. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Honeymoon Trail; dry warm beds await you at Caribou Highlands Lodge. Throughout the months of summer here at Dogwood Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are usually in the                  10's with temperatures at Dogwood Lake dipping down into the-10's throughout winter nights.
