Summertime at Dogleg Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and the nighttime is quite chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 10's; overnight lows at Dogleg Lake during the winter regularly drop into the-10's. If only every spot had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great planet       it would be. After a long day outdoors Eagle Ridge Resort at Lutsen Mountains is a fine site to spend a night or two, and you can go for a hike on the Gneiss Trail. From a rainfall point of view Dogleg Lake is a reasonably normal location; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. There's good hiking along the Pine Portage; you're in all probability keen on lakes,                  Mine Lake is one of those nearby. Sawbill Campground is a brilliant local campground, and if you've had enough of Dogleg Lake, Pellet Lake is nearby.
