Dodo Lake is a lake worth visiting. Dodo Lake is pretty waterless commonly; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. So many fun things to do here at Dodo Lake, too perfect to be true. Spirit Mountain is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and you'll discover a striking lake called Rose Lake.

| | Pine River Campground is a great site to camp. If you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel Cloquet is a pleasant choice, and if you're here, you could also stop by beautiful Leora Lake. While you're here at Dodo Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Duluth, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend St. Louis River.

and camping is available at Ico Campground. During the days of summer at Dodo Lake highs are usually in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Dodo Lake temperatures fall to the-10's.

The river is at least 100 miles long. I've paddled from Katherine Lake to the St. Louis River and there is plenty of river to paddle besides the section from US 53 to US 2. The top section, from Katherine Lake to Lake Co #2 is an especially wild ride, and I've only done it once, but the drop is incredible, sometimes like a logging flume.... |

Eagle's Nest Resort doesn't have any campsites for rent but they do have nice cabins instead....This is great publicity but I am wondering how this information was put on the internet. We are always listed as a resort with cabin rentals. our 7 site seasonal campground that has not had an opening for several years, so it is never listed under campgrounds.
