If you need a place to stay Country Inn By Carlson Grand Rapids is a perfect choice; don't leave Dirty Mike Lake without first going for a hike along the Suomi Hills Trail System. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Dirty Mike Lake; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Be careful coming to the Mesabi Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. There       are glorious places to look at along the Skeeter Lake Trail System, and you can stay the night at Prairie Lake Campground. The Mesabi Range scenery is always beautiful.
