Cascade River Campground is a great local campground, and there's whitewater on Cascade River for all you adrenaline kick people. All through the summer months here at Dick Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's while the cold winter nights at Dick Lake are in the-10's.       If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Dick Lake. The skiing at Lutsen is great. Why not camp at Devil Lake Campground while you're here at Dick Lake, and there's delightful hiking along the South Lake Portage. Super 8 Motel - Grand Marais is a great site to get some rest, and glorious hiking is available along the North Shore State Trail. Dick Lake gets a common amount of annual rain; the month of August is the wettest with                  most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
