Hiking along the North Shore State Trail is pleasant fun; Cascade River is a wonderful whitewater spot close by. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Dick Lake; August is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest. For the duration of the summertime months at Dick Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. The cold days of the       winter come with highs in the 10's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Dick Lake dip into the-10's. This spot is peerless, just explore all the entertaining things to do close to Dick Lake. Lutsen is a fine local ski area. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Dick Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cascade River Campground.
