A lake nearby is Mother Lake; why not camp at Town and Country Campground since you're here at Diamond Lake. Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is a brilliant location near Diamond Lake.

The winter brings highs down to the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Diamond Lake drop into the 0's. And that's not all you can do here at Diamond Lake. While you're here at Diamond Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, and Hiawatha Golf Course is a nice golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. | |

The snow is wonderful at Buck Hill, and camping is available at Lowry Grove.
A great nearby hotel is Americinn - Richfield, Mn, and Legion Lake is an out of the ordinary swamp right next door to Diamond Lake. From a precipitation
point of view Diamond Lake is a quite typical place; June is the month that gets the most rain while February is frequently the driest month.
