There's so much to do here at Deposit Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Jeanette Campground is a tremendous site for that; brilliant hiking is available along the Stuart Portage. Stay the night       at Sioux River Campground; you can go for a hike on the Echo Trail. The amount of precipitation that falls at Deposit Lake is close to the national average; most of the rain falls all through June, and February is the month with the least moisture. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Deposit Lake; the night is a little colder of course, mostly in the 40's.
