A magnificent close by hotel is Perham Super 8 Motel, and Dead Lake East Dam is stunning. Through the long summer days at Dead Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are commonly in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Dead Lake. Dead Lake gets very little precipitation; June is when       you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. Why not camp at Ok Corral Campground since you're here at Dead Lake, and lots of folks from Fergus Falls come here. A lake close by is Indian Lake, and a round of golf at nearby Balmoral Golf Course is a perfect way to kill some time. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Camping is available at Head Lake Camp, naturally you could also stop at Lake Alice since you're here; it's not                  far at all. This lake is so wonderful.
