A magnificent place to camp here at Dead Horse Lake is Grand Rapids Camping and Recreation. Dead Horse Lake is a beautiful lake in the Mesabi Range. And that's not everything you can do here in the Mesabi Range. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Grand Rapids; Dead Horse Lake is right by the Sugar Lake Trail System. This lake is so wonderful. Dead Horse Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than       a day at, Prairie Lake Campground is a tremendous local campground; Wendigo Lodge Golf Conference is a perfect location to get some rest. High temperatures at Dead Horse Lake through the summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 10's; night lows in the-10's for Dead Horse Lake. You could also stop at Long Lake since you're here at Dead Horse Lake; it's nearby; hiking along the                  Suomi Hills Trail System is magnificent fun.
