Caribou Highlands Lodge is a great place to get some rest; hey, Gotta ski right? Lutsen is a fine place to do that. The annual rainfall here at Dawkins Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is August while February is ordinarily the driest month. This is a good region for folks who like lakes. Extortion Lake is a lake in the neighborhood, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Pine Portage. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time

Cross River flows through this neighborhood, and the Rib Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. At
Dawkins Lake all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Dawkins Lake are in the-10's.
