Camping at Baker Lake Campground is always a brilliant experience, and if you need a site to stay Americinn - Tofte, Mn is a good choice. A lake nearby is Lower George Lake, and after a long day outdoors Caribou Highlands Lodge is a good place to spend a night or two. There's whitewater on Poplar River for all you adrenaline kick people, and Cross River is one of the streams close by that might       be worth stopping at. Dawkins Lake is a good place of normal rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. The warmest time of the year at Dawkins Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. This lake is so wonderful.
