The beauty of Dark Lake is reason enough to stop by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. If you're a golfer then a fine close by course is Wolfridge Golf Course; a fine location for whitewater paddling is Little Fork River. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Dark Lake get into the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are mostly in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight

This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Snake Trail is always a perfect adventure, and get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater of Sturgeon River. This lake is located in the wonderful Mesabi Range. Man, is there heaps of fun stuff to do in the Mesabi Range. Take | |

This is a great region for people who like lakes. Camp Four Lake is a lake nearby, and a good place
to camp here at Dark Lake is Vermilion Motel and RV Park. Why not camp at Forest Heights RV and Mobile Park while you're here at Dark Lake, and a great nearby hotel is Hibbing Park Hotel. So much fun stuff to do here in the Mesabi Range, too fine to be true.
