You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area in the vicinity of Dark Lake has to offer. If you're going to Dark Lake from Bemidji, you won't be the only one, and Americinn - Bemidji, Mn is a great location to get some rest. There are other places here than Dark Lake, for example Hagali Lake, and the Webster Lake Trail System is a splendid hiking trail close by. At Dark Lake during the summer highs are       in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 10's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Dark Lake temperatures dip to the-10's. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Bemidji, Mn; on a fine day you can take a hike along the Meadow Lake Trail System. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Gull Lake Campground and Mobile is always a nice experience, and if the weather                  is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Carter Lake Trail. A glorious location to camp here at Dark Lake is Moens Birch Haven Campground, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Buena Vista.
