This is a delightful region for people who like lakes. Swamp Lake is a lake close at hand, and there's tremendous hiking along the Giese Truck Trail. High temperatures at Dam Brook during the summer months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. High temperatures       through the winter are normally in the 10's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Dam Brook plunge into the-10's. Camping at Big K Campground is always a delightful experience, and the Herubin Truck Trail offers hiking at its best. So much cool stuff in the vicinity of Dam Brook, clearly mind-blowing. A great nearby hotel is Americinn - Mora, Mn. This lake is so wonderful. A good spot to camp here at Dam Brook is Pete's                  Retreat Family Campground, and you're almost certainly hooked on lakes, Porcupine Lake is one of those close by.
