Cutaway Lake gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the Mesabi Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Wilson Lake Trail. Some brilliant nature is available in Marcell Experimental Forest, and the Wasson Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful.       A nice close by hotel is Country Inn By Carlson Grand Rapids, and if you came for an overnight stay Prairie Lake Campground is a delightful location to camp. Little Wolf Lake Wildlife Impondment Dam is a place that is close to Cutaway Lake; Spring Lake is a great lake nearby. Just can't get enough of Cutaway Lake. Lakes? Sure, Hendrichs Lake is nearby, and there's fine hiking along the Skeeter Lake Trail System. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Cutaway Lake.                  Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 10's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Cutaway Lake temperatures dip to the-20's. All year is a great time in the Mesabi Range if you have a thing about the outdoors.
