This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lower Tamarack River, and camping at Riverview Campground is always a perfect experience. Throughout the summer at Crooked Lake temperatures are mostly in       the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 10's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Crooked Lake tend to be in the-10's. Crooked Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is June while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. There are other spots here than Crooked Lake,                  for example Dollar Lake; there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail. Thunder Meadow is a wonderful place to stretch your legs a bit; camping is available at Paint Rock Spring Campground. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on St. Croix River.
