From a rain point of view Crooked Lake is a reasonably common place; the wettest month of the year is commonly June, that's the one that rains the most while February is frequently the driest month. Rock Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore; don't leave Crooked Lake without first going for a hike along the Cutfoot Sioux Trail. There are good sites to explore along the Spur Lake Trail System, and there's       whitewater on Big Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers. At Crooked Lake through the warm months highs are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Crooked Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. A lake nearby is Crooked Lake Impoundment. This lake is so wonderful. Crooked Lake is a magnificent location to visit for more than one day,                  Jessie View Resort and RV Campground is a magnificent location to camp nearby; Wendigo Lodge Golf Conference is a pleasant location to get some rest.
