Not far from Crooked Lake, you'll find Crow Wing Lake which is a wonderful lake, and a glorious close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Park Rapids. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Crooked Lake. Going for a hike on the Howard Lake Trail is always a good adventure. This lake is so wonderful. There       is a nice hiking trail near Crooked Lake called the Heartland Trail, and if you need a place to stay Americinn - Park Rapids, Mn is a delightful choice. During the months of summer at Crooked Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's; the overnight is fairly chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Crooked Lake. Camping at Nature Land Campground                  is always a magnificent experience, and nearby you discover the Snoway 1 which is a splendid hiking trail.
