A glorious nearby hotel is Wingate by Wyndham Coon Rapids, and Anoka County Activities Center is a great campground nearby. Throughout the warm months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Crooked Lake. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while Crooked Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the-10's. The amount       of rain that falls at Crooked Lake is close to the national average; through June this area sees the most rain; January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Americinn - Coon Rapids, Mn is a magnificent location to get some rest, and a round of golf at nearby Woodland Creek Golf Course is a great way to kill some time. The panoramas at Mississippi National River & Recreation Area will blow your mind; the slopes of Hyland Ski are so inviting                  noone can resist.
