What a location this is for outdoors folks. Get wet paddling on Big Fork, and do take a hike on the Spur Lake Trail System. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Jingo Lake; hiking along the Plum Creek Trail is wonderful fun. Crippled Deer Lake       gets a normal amount of rain; through June this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. At Crippled Deer Lake through the summer highs are in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-20's to Crippled Deer Lake. Crippled Deer Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Spider Shores Resort is a great local                  campground. Lakes are nice; Two Island Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Crippled Deer Lake.
