This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Croix River. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Cranberry Lake. What would winter be without some skiing at Wild Mountain, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Forest Lake, Mn. High temperatures       at Cranberry Lake during the long summer days are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Cranberry Lake. If you're here at Cranberry Lake and you like golf, you can pop by Forest Hills Golf Club, and Americas Best Value Inn is a fine spot to get some rest. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Cranberry Lake; most of the rain falls during                  June while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Elwell Lake is a great lake in close proximity to Cranberry Lake, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail. Blue waters Leisure Park is a great campground nearby; if time allows, Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is a national park worth going to. This lake is so wonderful.
