     Fifty Lakes Campground is a tremendous campground nearby, and at Cranberry Lake you always meet someone from Brainerd. The amount of precipitation that falls at Cranberry Lake is close to the national average; most of the rain falls through June, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Cranberry Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. All through  
   the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Cranberry Lake are in the-10's.
Take a look at close by Big Bog, and you're probably hooked on lakes, Daggett Lake is one of those nearby. On a nice day at Cranberry Lake you can take a hike along the North Country Trail, and you can stay the night at Highview Campgrounds. If you need a site to stay Days Inn Nisswa is a fine choice, and if you want to stop by some exciting
 
               stuff, stop by The Needles.
Yeah, come here to Cranberry Lake for a glorious time. For you golfers we recommend nearby Crosswoods Golf Course, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Pequot Lakes, Mn. ...avorite Minnesota campgrounds and we stay here several times each summer. We love that it is right on a lake and that many of the sites have their own little beach. The campground is quiet and the sites˙ are screened from one another for privacy. I hate to even post a review out of the fear that our favorite camping secret will become everyone's camping favorite. It is close enough to Longville˙ and Remer that you can run in for ice and supplies as needed. One small hint that I will pass on is that you might want to stop in Longville or Hackensack to buy your˙ firewood as the campground does not have any for sale.Mabel Lake campground is not on a campsite reservation system but we have never had a problem finding a site here. We discovered this campground as a result of finding one of the more popular Leech Lake campgrounds full. Once we found Mabel Lake, we never bothered with the other campgrounds in the area again. Mabel Lake is rustic so those seeking hook-ups, flush toilets, and running water best move on to the more crowded campgrounds on Leech Lake and leave us to our own peac...
