Sandy Lake is a lake close at hand; if you're here you can take a hike along the Meadow Lake Trail System. For the duration of the summertime months here at Cranberry Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's.

A pair of loons nest in the narrows, and 8 pair of Canadian Gesse nest in the wetland on the west side of the upper lake, raising aproximently 30 young each year. The Beavor and Otters are also in heaven on this lake. It has good fishing for Northern, Bass, Blue Gills , and Crappies. It is what is called a coffee water lake being very dark in color, causing the fish to be beautiful.... |
