This lake is so wonderful. Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is a great national park; Camp Buckskin is a delightful local campground. For you golfers we recommend nearby Fred Richards Golf Course. During the long summer days at Lake Cornelia temperatures are usually in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter       lows in the 0's overnight here at Lake Cornelia. There are other places here than Lake Cornelia, for example Lake Harvey, and Lake Cornelia is a place with many visitors from Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington. After a long day outdoors Park Plaza Bloomington is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Hyland Ski while you're here. Lake Cornelia is a good site of common rain; the month of June                  is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
