The yearly precipitation here at Coon Lake is about average; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. This is a tremendous vicinity for folks who like lakes. Sandwick Lake is a lake nearby, and why not camp at North Star Campground if you're       here at Coon Lake. Go for a hike on the Cutfoot Sioux Trail, and a great place to camp here at Coon Lake is Spider Shores Resort. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Pine Lake; dry warm beds await you at Country Inn By Carlson Grand Rapids. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Coon Lake. Summertime highs at Coon Lake generally tend to be in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer                  temperatures dip down into the 50's.
