This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Colombo Lake without first going for a hike along the Thorhult Waskish Trail; Colombo Lake is not far at all from Bemidji. Not much rain falls here at Colombo Lake; July is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Colombo Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, KOA Kampgrounds is a glorious local campground,       and if you need a location to stay Best Western Bemidji Inn is a good choice. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great world it would be. Lakes are perfect; Heart Lake is a lake that's right next door to Colombo Lake. Super 8 Motel - Bemidji is a good location to get some rest; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Lake Emerald. At Colombo Lake throughout the months of summer highs are in                  the 70's; the overnight is slightly colder of course, frequently in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Colombo Lake are in the-10's.
