There's so much to do here at Clayton Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Old Logging Trail Campground is a fine place for that, and of course Hay Creek flows through this neighborhood. great place to spend a night or two. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Clayton Lake, too great to be true. Nearby lakes? Sure, Monson Lake is in the neighborhood of Clayton Lake; perfect hiking is available along the Markville
Snowmobile Trail. All through the long summer days highs here at Clayton Lake get into the 80's; the night is a bit chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 10's while Clayton Lake overnight low temperatures
throughout the winter are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Kettle River, and dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Crooked Lake.
