This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Northwoods Lodge, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Lower Tamarack River. The amount of precipitation that falls at Churchill Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year June is the       one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You could also take a look at Sutton Lake if you're here at Churchill Lake; it's close by, and swing by Lower Tamarack River it's a good location to take a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Sioux Portage Campground while you're here at Churchill Lake, and don't leave Churchill Lake without first going for a hike along the Markville Snowmobile Trail. Summertime                  highs at Churchill Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's; during the dark hours in the winter at Churchill Lake temperatures drop to the-10's. Nearby lakes? Sure, Rock Lake is in close proximity to Churchill Lake, and not far from here you can enjoy the trees of Saint Croix State Forest. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Churchill Lake.
