At Chub Lake all through the summertime highs are in the 70's; the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, usually in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 10's while Chub Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the-10's. There's so much to do here at Chub Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Gunflint Pines is a great spot for that; if you get bored of Chub Lake you could       also pop by close by Dogleg Lake. Hiking along the Gneiss Trail is magnificent fun, and Mine Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Maraboeuf Lake Portage will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and if you came to camp Sawbill Campground is a nice spot to do that. So many entertaining things to do at Chub Lake, so little time. Everybody close by loves skiing at Lutsen. The amount                  of rainfall that falls at Chub Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February.
