Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Mesabi Range is great! Stay the night at Jko Campground, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Skeeter Lake Trail System. Summertime highs at Christmas Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Highs all through the winter are mostly in the 10's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Christmas Lake temperatures

That right there is loads already, but it continues; Christmas Lake has it all. Lakes are such calm spots, why not explore Jack Lake near Christmas Lake; you'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Hartley Lake. After a long day outdoors Budget Host Inn Grand Rapids is a good place to spend a night or two, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Wilson Lake Trail. | |

You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Mesabi Range has
to offer. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Christmas Lake has to offer, you can camp at Swan Lake Resort, and a glorious close by hotel is Country Inn By Carlson Grand Rapids. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try East River, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Wasson Lake Trail.

It's amenities such as microwaves, good beds, reading lamps, TV/DVD's, lots of soft, hot water and decks or porches overlooking the lake that make cabins memorable. We're only 6 miles from Fergus Falls. As the largest city in west-central MN (population 13,000) it offers plenty of restaurants, shopping, a very fine historical museum, a Prairie Wetlands Learning Center and more. Pebble Lake Golf Course, a challenging 18 hole course, is 5 miles away.
