This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Rib Lake Trail is pleasant fun. From a precipitation point of view Christine Lake is a quite normal location; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. For the period of the warm months at Christine Lake highs are generally in the 70's; the overnight is       somewhat cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. During the winter highs are frequently in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Christine Lake are in the-10's. There are some great whitewater spots on Temperance River, and Eagle Ridge Resort at Lutsen Mountains is a glorious place to get some rest. Christine Lake really is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. Christine Lake is right by the Honeymoon Trail, and why not take a little trip to Barker                  Creek while you're here. What would winter be without some skiing at Lutsen, and a perfect site to camp here at Christine Lake is Crescent Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Poplar River offers some tremendous whitewater; probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Pengar Lake is just a very short distance away.
