If you came to camp Indian Lake Campground is a great place to do that, and dry warm beds await you at Larsmont Cottages. Chris Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Lake George Campground and Party       is a fine local campground, and Schaeffer Lake is a nice lake nearby. High temperatures at Chris Lake through the summer months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Chris Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are glorious spots to look at along the Seven Beaver Snowmobile Trail; in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can                  always go whitewater paddling on Knife River.
