All the outdoors enjoyable stuff right next door to Chant Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. A perfect place to camp here at Chant Lake is Silver Rapids Lodge Restaurant, and after a long day outdoors Budget Host Motel Ely is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Burntside Lake is close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might       be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Shipman Bass Lake; going for a hike on the Stuart Portage is always a great adventure. Grand Ely Lodge Resort And Conf Ctr is a great location to get some rest; there are fine sites to discover along the Crooked Lake Trail. Chant Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. Go                  for a hike on the Echo Trail, and there's some flowing water nearby, Dead River is a stream you can pop by during your stay. Summertime highs at Chant Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 10's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Chant Lake temperatures plunge to the-20's.
