Stay the night at Pokegama Lake RV Park, and if you get bored of Cedar Lake you could also stop at close by Mud Lake. Float down the rapids of Snake River in a kayak, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in close proximity to Cedar Lake. After a long day outdoors Days Inn is a great location to spend a night       or two; do take a hike on the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Kettle River offers some splendid whitewater, and Cedar Lake is a glorious site to camp, St Croix Haven Campgrounds is a glorious site. Through the summertime highs here at Cedar Lake reach the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 10's; all through                  the dark hours in the wintertime at Cedar Lake temperatures descend to the-10's. Grand Northern Inn is a tremendous location to get some rest, and a round of golf at nearby Grand National Golf Club is a great way to kill some time.
