High temperatures at Cedar Lake during the long summer days are in the 70's, and the nighttime is a tad chillier of course, generally in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's, and nighttime lows at Cedar Lake all through the wintertime ordinarily dip into the-20's. A brilliant nearby hotel is Country Inn By Carlson Grand Rapids, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then,       we recommend Big Fork. Why not camp at North Star Campground while you're here at Cedar Lake, and there are good locations to explore along the Cutfoot Sioux Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Spider Shores Resort, and don't leave Cedar Lake without first going for a hike along the Suomi Hills Trail System.
