If you need a place to stay Doubletree Hotel Minneapolis Park Place is a nice choice. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Cedar Lake has to offer, you can camp at       Camp Buckskin. At Cedar Lake throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's while Cedar Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Buck Hill is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. There's so much to do here at Cedar Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lowry Grove is                  a great location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington come to Cedar Lake, and Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is one of the destinations that are fine to explore nearby. A lake nearby is Birch Pond, and Hyland Ski has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful.
