There are fine sites to look at along the Lake Erin Trail; a splendid close by hotel is Americinn - Walker, Mn. If you need a place to stay Trappers Landing Lodge is a glorious choice, and Cedar Lake is not far at all from Brainerd. A common amount       of rain falls here at Cedar Lake; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Going for a hike on the North Country Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and taking a little trip to close by Diamond Point is a tremendous idea. Near Cedar Lake you discover the Goose Lake Trail System which is a delightful hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Cedar Lake                  is not the only place close by, Horseshoe Lake is a close by lake, and if you came to camp Pikedale Lodge is a great place to do that. For the duration of the months of summer highs here at Cedar Lake get into the 70's, and the overnight is fairly colder of course, mostly in the 50's.
