This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Taconite Trail, and you can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Giants Ridge. From a rain point of view Cedar Island Lake is a pretty typical place; the month with most of the rain is June; the driest month is February. Cedar Island       Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Gilbert Sherwood Forest is a glorious local campground, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Eveleth is a pleasant choice. Dry warm beds await you at Lodge At Giants Ridge, and a lake nearby is Black Lake. Camping at Sherwood Forest Campground is always a good experience. This place, Cedar Island Lake, it absolutely has so much outdoors entertaining stuff.
