Carter Lake gets very little rain; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Gull Lake; the Webster Lake Trail System offers hiking at its best. If you need       a location to stay Hampton Inn Suites Bemidji is a glorious choice, and there's good hiking along the Carter Lake Trail. Summer at Carter Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 10's with temperatures at Carter Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. Carter Lake is not the only spot nearby, Erickson Lake is a nearby lake. There's so much to do here at                  Carter Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Gull Lake Campground and Mobile is a great place for that. This lake is so wonderful. You could also pop by Fagen Lake if you're here at Carter Lake; it's close by, and people from Bemidji love to come here. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Carter Lake.
