At Carnahan Lake through the summer months highs are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are usually in the 10's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Carnahan Lake descend into the-10's. Carnahan Lake is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Pikedale Lodge is a nice spot to camp nearby, and Austin's Swamp       is a good local campground. There is a great hiking trail near Carnahan Lake called the North Country Trail, and you should stop at Broadwater Bay when you're here. This lake is so wonderful. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Carnahan Lake; most of the rain falls through June; February meanwhile is the driest month. A round of golf at nearby Ridgewood Golf Course & Country Club is a brilliant way to kill some time, and nearby you hit upon                  the Goose Lake Trail System which is a magnificent hiking trail.
