But wait, there's more to do close to Canuck Lake. While you're here at Canuck Lake you can take a hike along the Vaseux Portage, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Brule River. From a rain point of view Canuck Lake is a relatively normal place; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February. On a brilliant day at Canuck Lake you can take a hike along       the Lesser Cherry Portage; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Superior Inn And Suites. From Canuck Lake you acquire a great sight of Moose Mountain; camping at East Bearskin Campground is always a glorious experience. This lake is so wonderful. The Great Cherry Portage is a brilliant hiking trail right next door to Canuck Lake; if you came to camp Kimball Lake Campground is a great site to do that. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's                  to Canuck Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's.
