This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. Lyman Lakes is a nearby lake that you could explore; Americinn - Northfield, Mn is a wonderful place to get some rest. The yearly rain here at Cannon River Reservoir is about average; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the       driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Heath Creek is close to Cannon River Reservoir and is always a pleasure to check out; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Buck Hill. Dry warm beds await you at Country Inn By Carlson Northfield, and you're sure to encounter some good people from Faribault-Northfield here.
