Eilers Lake is close by; after a long day outdoors Sleep Inn & Suites is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Motel - Becker is a great location to get some rest; whitewater paddling is nice on Sauk River. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Camp Lake. A great spot to camp here at Camp Lake is Riverwood Campland, and if you don’t have a problem getting       soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mississippi River. Camp Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Travelers Country Club 2 is a glorious local campground, and Camp Lake is not the only site close by, Mosford Lake is a close by lake. From a precipitation point of view Camp Lake is a relatively common place; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is typically the driest month. Summertime brings highs                  in the 80's to Camp Lake. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's.
