This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Suomi Hills Trail System, and Super 8 Motel - Grand Rapids is a wonderful location to get some rest. Go for a hike on the Johnson Lake Trail System, and not far from Camel Lake you'll find Leighton Lake which is a gorgeous lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Mesabi Range. And that's not all you can do       here at Camel Lake. Why not camp at Andersen's Four Seasons Resort while you're here at Camel Lake. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Camel Lake. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. During the winter highs are typically in the 10's while Camel Lake night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the-10's.
