Paddling on Temperance River is so much fun; Cam Lake is not the only place close by, Vesper Lake is a close by lake. Crescent Lake Campground is a fine campground nearby, and a lake nearby is Gasket Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Poplar River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and going for a hike on the Granite River Portage is always a great adventure. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Cam Lake is a good place of normal precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
