Butternut Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; during June this area sees the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. After a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - GLENCOE is a good site to spend a night or two, and do stop at Mud Lake, it's a scenic lake. Summertime highs at Butternut Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's; the nighttime is quite colder of course, frequently in the 60's. Daytime highs       during the wintertime are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Butternut Lake temperatures dip to the 0's. Camping is available at Cokato Lake Country Campground; folks from Hutchinson love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Collinwood Lake Park while you're here at Butternut Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Hutchinson, Mn.
