Burt Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is mostly the driest month. High temperatures at Burt Lake during the days of summer are in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 10's while the cold winter       nights at Burt Lake are in the-10's. Not far from Burt Lake, you'll stumble on Plug Lake which is a beautiful lake; if you need a location to stay Eagle Ridge Resort at Lutsen Mountains is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Poplar River offers some splendid whitewater. If you came for an overnight stay Gunflint Pines is a brilliant place to camp; going for a hike on the Granite River Portage is always a great adventure.                  All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the neighborhood of Burt Lake will keep you coming back many times. The Rib Lake Trail is a tremendous hiking trail right next door to Burt Lake. Lakes are delightful; Auk Lake is a lake that's near Burt Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of Temperance River in a kayak, and a nice close by hotel is Caribou Highlands Lodge.
