Burr Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Any time is a splendid time at Burr Lake if you adore the outdoors. Don't leave Burr Lake without first going for a hike along the Spur Lake Trail System, and there's splendid hiking along the Plum Creek Trail. Burr Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Burr Lake fall into the-20's.
