A lake close by is Wagosh Lake, and nearby you hit upon the Crooked Lake Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. Bullet Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Gateway North Outfitters is a wonderful local campground, and after a long day outdoors Budget Host Motel Ely is a nice location to spend a night or two. An average amount of rainfall falls at Bullet Lake; June is when you get the most rain here; February       meanwhile is the driest month. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are in fact abundant here at Bullet Lake. You could also stop at Moosecamp Lake since you're here at Bullet Lake; it's close by, and Stony River is a good whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Motel - Ely is a splendid place to get some rest, and going for a hike on the Stuart Portage is always a good adventure. All through the months of summer highs here at Bullet Lake get                  into the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the winter the highs are usually in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Bullet Lake are in the-10's. Papoose Creek is a magnificent local stream.
