On a wonderful day you obtain a vista of Kelso Mountain from Buckshot Lake; a glorious place to camp here at Buckshot Lake is Baker Lake Campground. The yearly rainfall here at Buckshot Lake is about average; during the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is the       month with the least amount of precipitation. If you go for the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Buckshot Lake. After a long day outdoors Americinn - Tofte, Mn is a nice place to spend a night or two, and there is a glorious hiking trail nearby called the Rib Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Temperance River in the vicinity of Buckshot Lake, and nearby you hit upon the Pine Portage which is a good hiking trail. All through                  the months of summer highs here at Buckshot Lake reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Buckshot Lake are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Lutsen is one of those things you just have to do. Buckshot Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Sawbill Campground is a perfect local campground, and get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Temperance River. This is a delightful vicinity for folks who like lakes.
