During the summertime months at Buck Lake highs are mostly in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 10's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Buck Lake. Buck Lake is one of the lakes here in the Mesabi Range. A common amount of rain falls here at Buck Lake; June is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful.

| | This is a good neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Little Buck Lake is a lake nearby, and great hiking is available along the Wasson Lake Trail. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff to do are truly abundant here at Buck Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Hibbing, and you can go for a hike on the Stingy Lake Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Mesabi Range.

at Buck Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Swan Lake Resort is a good spot for that. Hibbing Park Hotel is a great site to get some rest; don't leave Buck Lake without first going for a hike along the Link Lake Trail. But
wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Mesabi Range. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Sturgeon River, and if you came to camp Swan Lake Campground is a brilliant spot to do that.

At our convenience store you'll be able to pick up basic groceries, ice cream, pizzas, snacks, ice, fishing licenses, tackle, and night crawlers. We also carry unleaded gas and motor oil. We have hiking trails up through the woods and a playground for the little ones. The paved Central Lakes Trail goes right by us, so bring your bikes. Our paddleboats, kayaks and canoes are free to guests for on-the-water fun too. And for those quiet times we have benches placed around the resort to relax upon.
